After gathering requirements from our business partners I set out to gain some user insights and craft an experience that was modern and easy to use. Through user research, market research, and app store ratings and comments, I was able to generate enough insights to share with the design team. The mobile app shares its branding, voice and tone with the APS website, but we wanted to create a distinct experience through the mobile app.

Both iOS and Android versions were created using the Xamarin framework and its services and APIs were hosted on Azure. The content was dynamically generated using Sitecore CMS APIs and could be updated by content authors without the need to deploy code. The team took advantage of the Azure App Center SDK for analytics, event tracking and clickthrough rates.

After launch I designed a feedback loop mechanism that incorporated analytics, app store ratings, app store comments, and Qualtrics surveys. This feedback process would be analyzed, scrubbed for noise and brought into the team to assist with feature enhancements.
